The Cart Lodge is a spacious and luxurious converted barn, which boasts gorgeous vaulted ceilings and beautiful exposed beams, with a stunning log burning stove. Sleeping up to six people, The Cart Lodge has three peaceful and cosy bedrooms, a large rustic living space and a fully equipped kitchen, not to mention it’s view of our field and the surrounding countryside.

You’ll be cosy and warm in the living room and of course, there’s central heating too. A large dining table gives you plenty of space to gather, whether you chose to hire in a private chef, or cook family style. There’s a Smart TV in the living room, as well as in each bedroom, where you can access our complimentary Netflix account, or log in yourself. WiFi is also included. The Cart Lodge’s modern wetrooms include fresh fluffy towels for your complimentary use.

Outdoor seating in your enclosed private patio overlooks our field, giving you space to enjoy a morning coffee. Fire up the BBQ in the warmer months and enjoy supper al-fresco. If you don’t fancy cooking, head to our guide for restaurant or take away recommendations in West Norfolk.

Our holiday cottages are dog-friendly; up to two well behaved dogs are allowed (additional fee of £40). Feel free to bring your dog for a play in our fields, and check out our recommended walking routes here.

As our guest, your complimentary access card to the facilities will be waiting in your cottage for you, along with a spa robe to wrap up in. You have access to all of the shared facilities, including the outdoor heated vitality pool, the spa, including herbal saunas and steam rooms, the gym and the indoor swimming pool. You’ll also receive 10% off any spa treatments you book, including luxurious facials and relaxing massages.

Please note that the Cart Lodge doesn’t have any bath tubs, but has two shower wet rooms.

Accessibility

The Cart Lodge is set across one level, with a large, access friendly wet room, and a shower en-suite.

Bedroom One and Bedroom Two (with shower en-suite) can both be made up as with either a super king bed, or two single beds.

Bedroom three has a double bed.

A gate and fence encloses your courtyard, where you’ll find outdoor seating and a BBQ so you can dine outdoors and enjoy the field view with a glass of wine together.

You’re welcome to enjoy access to Energise Pentney for up to three hours after check out at no additional charge. Please ensure your cottage is fully vacated by 10AM - changing rooms are available.
