perfect antidote to urban living
Had a lovely chilled couple of nights staying in the Gig House. Our cottage had a comprehensive set up for self catering, charming, cosy & ideal for the average family unit. Also handy for dog lovers, there is plenty of scope for long walks along the river through fields and woodland. The coast is also within 30 mins drive to some long & deep sandy beaches. We will be back!

a home away from home
Had a lovely stay at Gig House. The cottage was fantastic, had everything you could need and so much more. A home away from home, super comfy beds, peaceful and relaxing. With an added bonus of the excellent gym/pool and spa facilities right on your doorstep. The owners were so welcoming and made sure we had everything for our stay. The cottages were located to so many areas we were spoilt for things to do.

family getaway
Six of us and a 10 month old all stayed in the Threshing Barn and it was fantastic. Beautiful surroundings, close to nearby towns and a short drive to Hunstanton coast. Cottage had everything we needed and lovely to have access to the leisure complex onsite. Would definitely return.

just perfect
Just returned from a wonderful stay in Gig House at Nar Valley Cottages. The place completely exceeded my expectations. The location was superb for visiting local villages and towns. The cottage had everything we needed and more. The owners had thought of everything. The cottage had a log burner complete with logs, all mod cons in the kitchen, the most comfy bed I have slept in for years and even toiletries in the bathroom, complete with large fluffy towels. On site is a fully equipped gym with a pool and spa. Massages are wonderful. Perfect for a relaxing afternoon after a long walk. The couple that own the place were so welcoming and attentive from the moment of booking until we left. I cannot find one fault with this place and am looking forward to returning. I was visiting as a couple but this amazing place is suitable for families and dogs. Just perfect.

very cosy beds
Last week we stayed in the Threshing Barn at Nar Valley. It has been sympathetically refurbished with lots of thoughtful added extras that made it a home from home. Very comfortable in all rooms, beds are very cosy, lounge and dining area is well equipped and three bathrooms give six people ample space. The added extra of using the spa centre with pools and sauna make it a relaxing experience. Owners could not have been more helpful.

sitting outside with a bottle of wine
We have just returned from a wonderful weekend at the Threshing Barn. The cottage was well equipped and family friendly. We loved sitting outside, sharing a bottle of wine whilst all four children run around the amazing outside space. The use of the spa facilities was an added bonus. The staff were professional and helpful...the lovely fresh coffee was a perfect start to the day. My husband and I managed some adult time relaxing in the spa and we all got to use the pool together.
We will definitely come again!

absolutely amazing
We stayed in the Threshing Barn Cottage at the weekend, I can not fault this place. It was absolutely perfect for a girls weekend away. We visited the spa for a bit of relaxation too, the treatments were 5 star and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Hannah & Tan have done a amazing job making these cottages feel like a home away from home! We cannot wait to stay again! Thank you to all the staff at Nar Valley Cottages.

a special place to stay
We had a wonderful stay in the Gig House Cottage last weekend. Hannah & Tan were very welcoming and have clearly worked hard over the last few months creating a special place to stay. The cottage was really tastefully decorated (and accessible for my mum who has mobility issues). The dogs loved it too and were instantly at home. The onsite Spa was a huge bonus (about 200m walk from our cottage, but very discreet) - the treatments we had were extremely good with experienced & friendly staff. We'll definitely be returning soon!

absolute heaven
Just got back from an amazing holiday staying at Nar Valley Cottages in Norfolk! Absolute heaven with an onsite spa, amazing massages and a sauna plus a jacuzzi pool! Can’t recommend it enough! Amazing place and amazing hosts!
